WANTED: a veterinarian for a PhD position in wildlife diseases at Wildlife Health Ghent.
Wildlife Health Ghent has a vacancy for a veterinarian, who is willing to pursue a PhD in wildlife diseases. This four year scholarship will include wildlife disease research (hedgehog diphtheric disease) and the candidate will be involved in policy advice to regional authorities. The position will start the latest at 1/7/2023.
A diploma in veterinary medicine / veterinary sciences is required and the candidate must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Belgium. Excellent knowledge of the English language is a prerequisite. Communication with regional authorities will be in Dutch, hence thorough knowledge of the Dutch language is required.
